Midnight confessions

At midnight hearts begin to speak, The strong grow fragile, lost, and weak. The silence opens every door, To hidden truths we can’t ignore. Midnight confessions softly fall, Like shadows dancing on the wall. The words we hide through all the day, Find moonlit courage on their way. “I miss you” sounds much more sincere, When only stars are left to hear. And broken souls stop wearing masks, Beneath the night that never asks. Perhaps the dark was always kind, A place where truth could breathe and shine. For hearts speak loudest after scars, In whispered talks beneath the stars.

Sparkle in Your Eyes Like Firework - Poem

Sparkle in Your Eyes Like Firework

There’s a sparkle in your eyes like fireworks—

not the kind that fade in the sky,
but the kind that stay
long after the night has whispered goodbye.

They bloom in silence,
igniting something soft in me—
like laughter echoing in a quiet room,
or the hush of waves that only hearts can see.

You don’t even know, do you?
How your gaze lights up the dark,
how it writes poems across my skin
without needing to leave a mark.

I watch those sparks when you’re not looking,
when you're lost in thought or halfway to a smile,
and in those flickers,
I swear I could live a thousand lives—
if only to stay in that moment awhile.

So let the stars envy your fire,
let the moon wish it could shine the same,
for every glance you give the world
sets it quietly aflame.

And me? I’ll just stand here,
heart full, a little shy,
marveling at how love can feel
like fireworks behind your eyes.
