Midnight confessions

At midnight hearts begin to speak, The strong grow fragile, lost, and weak. The silence opens every door, To hidden truths we can’t ignore. Midnight confessions softly fall, Like shadows dancing on the wall. The words we hide through all the day, Find moonlit courage on their way. “I miss you” sounds much more sincere, When only stars are left to hear. And broken souls stop wearing masks, Beneath the night that never asks. Perhaps the dark was always kind, A place where truth could breathe and shine. For hearts speak loudest after scars, In whispered talks beneath the stars.

Quick Sands of my mind - Poem

Quick Sands of My Mind

I walk across the fragile shore,
Where shadows whisper evermore,
Each thought a grain that slips away,
Yet pulls me deeper, day by day.

The quicksands of my mind consume,
A silent grave, a gentle tomb,
Dreams I once held, now sinking fast,
Like echoes fading, shadows cast.

I reach for light, I reach for air,
But only silence lingers there,
The more I fight, the more I fall,
A prisoner within these walls.

Yet in the depths, I see a flame,
It calls me softly by my name,
A promise that I’m not alone,
That even sinking, I’ve been known.

So if I drown in shifting time,
Remember love was always mine,
And even in the sinking sand,
I leave my heart within your hand.
