Midnight confessions

At midnight hearts begin to speak, The strong grow fragile, lost, and weak. The silence opens every door, To hidden truths we can’t ignore. Midnight confessions softly fall, Like shadows dancing on the wall. The words we hide through all the day, Find moonlit courage on their way. “I miss you” sounds much more sincere, When only stars are left to hear. And broken souls stop wearing masks, Beneath the night that never asks. Perhaps the dark was always kind, A place where truth could breathe and shine. For hearts speak loudest after scars, In whispered talks beneath the stars.

Why I Love You

Why I Love You

I love you for the calm you bring to me,
A steady light when nights refuse to end,
For how your silence speaks so honestly,
And how my broken edges start to mend.

I love you for the truth inside your eyes,
That sees my flaws and never turns away,
For how you lift my doubts where hope had died,
And teach my heart a braver way to stay.

I love you for the way time feels so kind,
Each simple moment turned to something rare,
For how your presence stills my restless mind,
And makes a home of breath, of now, of here.

And if I had to answer once again,
Through every storm, through joy, through what we knew—
The reason sings, unchanged by loss or pain:
I love this life, because it holds you.
