Midnight confessions

At midnight hearts begin to speak, The strong grow fragile, lost, and weak. The silence opens every door, To hidden truths we can’t ignore. Midnight confessions softly fall, Like shadows dancing on the wall. The words we hide through all the day, Find moonlit courage on their way. “I miss you” sounds much more sincere, When only stars are left to hear. And broken souls stop wearing masks, Beneath the night that never asks. Perhaps the dark was always kind, A place where truth could breathe and shine. For hearts speak loudest after scars, In whispered talks beneath the stars.

In Time

In Time

In time, the wounds will learn to heal,
The heart will breathe, the soul will feel,
The storms that now seem fierce and wide
Will soften into calmer tides.

In time, the night will lose its weight,
The clock will mend what came too late,
And every tear that stained your cheek
Will form the strength you couldn’t speak.

In time, the truth will come to light,
Why certain doors closed out of sight,
Why some were lost, why some remained,
Why love was given, why love pained.

And in that hour, you’ll finally see
That all you were is all you’ll be—
Still worthy, whole, and brave by choice,
In time, you’ll rise and find your voice.
