Midnight confessions

At midnight hearts begin to speak, The strong grow fragile, lost, and weak. The silence opens every door, To hidden truths we can’t ignore. Midnight confessions softly fall, Like shadows dancing on the wall. The words we hide through all the day, Find moonlit courage on their way. “I miss you” sounds much more sincere, When only stars are left to hear. And broken souls stop wearing masks, Beneath the night that never asks. Perhaps the dark was always kind, A place where truth could breathe and shine. For hearts speak loudest after scars, In whispered talks beneath the stars.

Falling star

A falling star crossed through the night,
A silver flame, a fleeting light.
It burned so fast, too bright to stay,
Yet stole my lonely breath away.

I made a wish with trembling hands,
For softer hearts and kinder lands.
For love that time could never scar,
While watching that last falling star.

And maybe somewhere, far from here,
Beyond the dark, beyond the fear,
Someone wished beneath that same sky,
The very moment it passed by.

So if you see one drift above,
Don’t waste the chance to dream of love.
Some stars are gone before we are…
That’s why we chase each falling star.
