Lost in Time

I got lost somewhere in time,
Between old songs and dreams of mine.
Between the echoes of your name,
And memories that still remain.

The clocks kept turning, cold and slow,
But part of me refused to go.
Still standing in a faded place,
Searching the shadow of your face.

I walked through nights that felt unreal,
Through silent wounds that wouldn’t heal.
Like pages drifting in the rain,
Repeating every joy and pain.

Yet maybe being lost can mean,
You’re finding worlds you’ve never seen.
For even stars must leave the sky,
To learn how lost souls learn to fly.
