Midnight confessions

At midnight hearts begin to speak, The strong grow fragile, lost, and weak. The silence opens every door, To hidden truths we can’t ignore. Midnight confessions softly fall, Like shadows dancing on the wall. The words we hide through all the day, Find moonlit courage on their way. “I miss you” sounds much more sincere, When only stars are left to hear. And broken souls stop wearing masks, Beneath the night that never asks. Perhaps the dark was always kind, A place where truth could breathe and shine. For hearts speak loudest after scars, In whispered talks beneath the stars.

Where my heart belongs

Where my heart belongs
is not a place on any map,
not a road the world can follow,
not a promise made to last.

It belongs beside your silence,
where your breathing calms the dark,
where your hands can heal the chaos
that once shattered every part.

Where my heart belongs
is hidden in your eyes at night,
in the softness of your laughter,
in the way you hold me tight.

Not in castles made of gold,
nor in fame or fleeting skies,
but in moments small and tender
where forever quietly hides.

Where my heart belongs
is tangled in your soul somehow,
like the moon belongs to midnight,
like the stars to heaven’s crown.

And if one day storms should find us,
if the whole world turns to grey,
my heart will still return to you,
like dawn returning after rain.
