What Is Love

Love is not thunder every day,
Not every word you long to say.
It is the hand that chooses still,
To stay beside your changing will.

Love is the quiet after rain,
The healing touch inside the pain.
A thousand little acts unseen,
That keep the faded places green.

Love is not chains, nor fear, nor need,
But open skies where both hearts lead.
No cage, no mask, no perfect art,
Just finding home inside a heart.

And maybe love, in simplest view,
Is being fully seen by you—
And answering with open eyes:
“I know… and still, I choose your skies.”
