Do you remember? - Poem

Do You Remember? Do you remember that very first night, The nervous laughter, the fading light? How words came softly, then hours just flew, And somehow the world disappeared into you? Do you remember the things we would say, The little good mornings that colored my day? Those quiet moments nobody knew, When nothing existed but me and you? Do you remember when silence felt warm, When your voice was my shelter inside every storm? When missing you hurt, yet somehow felt sweet, Because every goodbye meant again we would meet? Maybe some moments were never meant to stay, They come like the seasons, then wander away, But if you ever look at the stars like I do— Tell me, my love... do you remember them too?

Sun upon us

Sun Upon Us

The sun upon us, warm and slow,
Turns every silent dream to gold,
It finds the places shadows go,
And wakes the love our hearts still hold.

The morning rests upon your face,
Like heaven leaning close to see,
And in the light, I find a place
Where you are standing next to me.

No storm can steal this tender flame,
No night can keep the dawn away,
The sun will always know your name,
And lead our restless hearts to day.

So stay with me beneath this sky,
Where every ray becomes a kiss,
Let all the passing hours drift by—
There is no brighter world than this.

And if one day the clouds should come,
And hide the blue we used to trust,
I'll wait with you until the sun
Returns to shine again on us.
