Do you remember? - Poem

Do You Remember? Do you remember that very first night, The nervous laughter, the fading light? How words came softly, then hours just flew, And somehow the world disappeared into you? Do you remember the things we would say, The little good mornings that colored my day? Those quiet moments nobody knew, When nothing existed but me and you? Do you remember when silence felt warm, When your voice was my shelter inside every storm? When missing you hurt, yet somehow felt sweet, Because every goodbye meant again we would meet? Maybe some moments were never meant to stay, They come like the seasons, then wander away, But if you ever look at the stars like I do— Tell me, my love... do you remember them too?

The impatient knight - poem

The Impatient Knight

My impatient knight, why do you run,
Chasing the moon and racing the sun?
Love isn't conquered by sword or by fight,
Some hearts open slowly, my impatient knight.

You knock at my castle and call out my name,
With eyes full of longing and a heart full of flame,
But walls built from sorrow won't fall overnight,
So wait at my doorway, my impatient knight.

Don't promise me kingdoms or treasures untold,
Just give me a love that won't vanish or fold,
Stay when I'm silent, when nothing feels right,
And patience may win me, my beautiful knight.

For maybe one morning, when fear disappears,
I'll lower the bridge I've protected for years,
And you'll finally know why I asked you to wait—
The strongest love never arrives too late.
