Do You Remember? Do you remember that very first night, The nervous laughter, the fading light? How words came softly, then hours just flew, And somehow the world disappeared into you? Do you remember the things we would say, The little good mornings that colored my day? Those quiet moments nobody knew, When nothing existed but me and you? Do you remember when silence felt warm, When your voice was my shelter inside every storm? When missing you hurt, yet somehow felt sweet, Because every goodbye meant again we would meet? Maybe some moments were never meant to stay, They come like the seasons, then wander away, But if you ever look at the stars like I do— Tell me, my love... do you remember them too?

You Pull Me Closer Each Day

You pull me closer with each passing day,
With every little word you softly say,
I try to resist, but my heart knows the way,
And somehow you steal all my distance away.

You pull me closer whenever you smile,
And suddenly waiting feels worth every mile,
One look from your eyes and my walls disappear,
Until all that remains is the need to be near.

I don't know where this beautiful road will end,
If you'll be my lover, my soulmate, my friend,
But something within me keeps calling your name,
And each time I hear you, I fall just the same.

So pull me closer, don't let me retreat,
Until there is nowhere our two hearts don't meet,
For yesterday I wanted you—but somehow today,
You pull me much closer in every sweet way.
