Do You Remember? Do you remember that very first night, The nervous laughter, the fading light? How words came softly, then hours just flew, And somehow the world disappeared into you? Do you remember the things we would say, The little good mornings that colored my day? Those quiet moments nobody knew, When nothing existed but me and you? Do you remember when silence felt warm, When your voice was my shelter inside every storm? When missing you hurt, yet somehow felt sweet, Because every goodbye meant again we would meet? Maybe some moments were never meant to stay, They come like the seasons, then wander away, But if you ever look at the stars like I do— Tell me, my love... do you remember them too?

My Little Star

My little star, you softly shine,
Not in the heavens, but here in mine,
You found the corners no light could see,
And quietly made them glow in me.

You don't need galaxies to be bright,
One little smile can color my night,
One whispered word, one sleepy hello,
And suddenly everywhere starts to glow.

And if someday your own light grows small,
I'll hold it gently and guard it all,
I'll lend you my sky when yours feels too far,
Until you remember how bright you are.

So shine as softly as you need to do,
I'll never ask more than what's truly you,
Of all the lights scattered near and far,
I'd always look for you—my little star.
