Do you remember? - Poem

Do You Remember? Do you remember that very first night, The nervous laughter, the fading light? How words came softly, then hours just flew, And somehow the world disappeared into you? Do you remember the things we would say, The little good mornings that colored my day? Those quiet moments nobody knew, When nothing existed but me and you? Do you remember when silence felt warm, When your voice was my shelter inside every storm? When missing you hurt, yet somehow felt sweet, Because every goodbye meant again we would meet? Maybe some moments were never meant to stay, They come like the seasons, then wander away, But if you ever look at the stars like I do— Tell me, my love... do you remember them too?

When You're not here - poem

When You're Not Here

When you're not here, the stars feel far,
I search the darkness where you are,
And every heartbeat whispers low,
A little ache I cannot show.

I think of you when daylight ends,
When moonlight through my window bends,
I close my eyes, but sleep won't start,
You keep on dancing through my heart.

It's strange how someone far away
Can make me smile throughout the day,
Then leave me missing you at night,
As if my soul has lost its light.

Perhaps first love is always strange,
A little wild, a little change,
A magic no one can explain—
A sweetest joy, a tender pain.

And if tonight you cannot sleep,
Perhaps somewhere our dreams still meet,
Two restless hearts beneath one moon,
Both hoping morning comes too soon.
